The Indiana Joint Asthma Coalition (InJAC) is proud to present Asthma Education for the Community Health Worker Online Training. While geared towards community health workers, this program is applicable to any and all health professionals and community members interested in asthma education, including parents of children with asthma, school nurses, respiratory therapists, etc. This five module training includes:

• The Scope of Asthma
• Triggers and Environmental Control
• Medications
• Medication delivery systems
• Assessment and Monitoring

After participating in this course, users are expected to:

• identify and describe environmental triggers for people with asthma
• identify medication delivery systems
• compare asthma action zones
• define the scope of asthma
