Course summary:

This final course in the Ready, Set, Go! series will focus on the tools you can use when you are in the classroom or making a professional presentation. You are likely making a presentation or teaching a class because you are knowledgeable about the subject, otherwise known as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). You also need to be aware of your audience and use effective and engaging instructional techniques.

Course objectives:

After completing this course, learners should be able to:

  • List the critical components of classroom setup.
  • Describe methods for time management during training.
  • Explain the process of creating an emotionally safe environment.
  • Explain the importance of recognizing cultural differences.
  • Describe the methods to problem solve if the presentation does not go as planned.
  • Describe Classroom Assessment Techniques.
  • Explain how to administer course evaluations.
