Course summary:
This second course in the Ready, Set, Go! series will focus on the tools you can use to assist you in planning for a professional presentation. This one-hour e-course will help you understand key concepts for creating any type of training session, from scripting a training to utilizing media, activities, job aids, and SMEs.
Course objectives:
After completing this course, learners should be able to:
- Describe elements for how to script a training event.
- Describe the importance of writing measurable learning objectives.
- Explain the importance of practicing a presentation in advance.
- List the steps to prepare materials or resources to deliver the training.
- Explain why it might be helpful to engage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) or guest lecturers in a training.
- Explain the processes for conducting formal evaluations.
