Course summary:
This first course in the Ready, Set, Go! series will introduce you to what constitutes a good training event, as well as the knowledge and skills a good trainer/facilitator needs to acquire. This one-hour e-course will also help you understand concepts of adult learning, characteristics of adult learners, and the importance of developing training goals as they apply to types of learning.
Course objectives:
After completing this course, learners should be able to:
- Describe your motivation to become an effective trainer/facilitator.
- Identify desirable skills of trainers/facilitators.
- Identify characteristics of adult learners.
- Understand what motivates adult learners.
- Develop learning objectives and goals based on types of learning.
