Summary:

Topics in Accessibility is a customizable service designed to provide technical information and assistance relative to accessibility of outdoor recreation and spaces. This service may include live, online education; architectural plan review; and general technical assistance, research, and opinions.

Objectives:

Specific instances of this service will have unique, customized objectives. Overall, this service strives to meet the following needs of the parks and public lands community:

  • To provide accessibility-related educational and technical assistance.
  • To increase accessibility-related knowledge and practice.
  • To maximize the creation of inclusive and accessible recreation and outdoor spaces.

This service is offered by the National Center on Accessibility program at the Eppley Center for Parks and Public Lands at Indiana University.
