Enhancing Diversity Training for Mentors

The development of this course was supported by funding from the National Institutes of Health NIH/NIGMS R25 R25GM109432.

The NIH has recently identified a need to address harassment in science training environments. With this supplement, we intend to address this need by creating modules imbedded within our current mentor and mentee training and which can also be shared with other institutions. These modules will be designed to improve faculty and student recognition and responses to bias and harassment, with the long-term goal of reshaping biomedical training environments nationally.
