About the Webinar

Furthering the commitment of Public Health & YOU to provide education on a wide variety of public health topics, we’re pleased to introduce our new webinar series. Each month, you’ll learn from an IU School of Public Health-Bloomington expert about a specific public health topic. Our goal is to foster community engagement in public health and provide important, relevant and useful information to those in our community.

Meet the Instructor

Dr. Carol Kennedy-Armbruster, Senior Lecturer, Department of Kinesiology

Dr. Kennedy-Armbruster is engaged in teaching, service and research related to functional movement, worksite wellness, safe and effective fitness instruction and evaluating health outcomes relating to physical activity.

 

Dr. Andrea Chomistek, Assistant Professor, Epidemiology and Biostatistics

Dr. Chomistek researches physical activity and the epidemiology of the cardiovascular disease (CVD), focused on the association between physical activity and coronary heart disease as well as the health effects of vigorous-intensity exercise.
