Meet the Presenter

Keisuke Kawata, Ph.D., ATC is a clinical neuroscientist and athletic trainer. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Program in Neuroscience. In his laboratory at Indiana University, his team is currently conducting a wide array of subconcussion research in both field and laboratory settings, aiming to understand the short- and long-term effects of subconcussive brain damage and establish a clinical guideline to prevent chronic brain deficits in athletes and military service members.
