Course Introduction

This is course is designed to help students envision, prepare and plan for a career in art. In this course our panelist will guide you through their own experiences of discovering their passion for art in a variety of areas; studio art, graphic design, performance, and how they turned it into a career. You’ll learn via a 60 minute video panel of art professionals, then through an activity our panelist will encourage you to look at art at home to begin developing your artistic eye.

 

Learning Outcomes

After completing the modules, you will be able to:

  • Learn about different educational paths to a career in arts
  • Hear from art professionals about their careers and day-to-day work
