Wired to Wear showcases wearable technology that range anywhere from jackets that help you “see” in dark spaces, racing suits that deploy their own airbags, or even a Jet Suit capable of traveling 32 mph. Wired to Wear showcases a variety of clothing and technology all which have multiple different uses and designs to look at how we as a society can resolves issues even with things as fundamental as clothing. The second exhibit, Makers United, goes a step further and is a workshop that will allow students to create their own piece of wearable tech in the form of a wearable LED circuit band.
