MITI Workshop: Collaboration & Advocacy (Self-Paced)
Time limit: 120 days
Full course description
Course Introduction:
This training is a recording of a Make It - Take It (MITI) Virtual Workshop. However, you will also gain access to workbooks, videos, and other activities used during the live training.
Please note that while examples may focus on younger individuals with ASD in a classroom environment, strategies are generalizable across ages and settings!
The MITI workshop series is designed to educate participants about evidence-based strategies, learn how to use these strategies with individuals with ASD across settings, as well as to discuss and plan various materials tailored for the individual(s) you know.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Explore components for effective collaboration
- Design a plan on how to create an effective team between home and school
