About This Course

On behalf of the Indiana University Southeast faculty, staff, and students committed to your success, we are pleased to welcome you as a member of our community!

Adjunct Faculty Orientation is a chance for you to get to know more about the people and resources available to help you launch your IU Southeast experience. By the end of orientation, we hope that you feel connected to the IU Southeast community and prepared to teach your first semester with us!

We have created this site to guide you through the information that will assist you as an adjunct faculty member.  We are using modules, a great organizational tool within Canvas that you may wish to use in your own courses. You may notice occasional formative information checks to help us gauge understanding.

Completing this orientation should take you approximately 6-8 hours. Feel free to return to these materials as many times as you would like. Upon successful completion, you will earn a certificate.
