Course Overview
This is a special Summer 2023 version of the regular Independent IUHS Biology I, Second Semester course. It is intended to be completed in 8 weeks, beginning on June 1 and ending on August 1, and will feature rapid grading and enhanced teacher feedback.
This is an introductory biology course concerned with the methods of science, the nature of life, and the world of living things. Examines the chemical aspects of life, the role of DNA, reproduction, and the principles of heredity and development. A continuation of the first semester course.
The course is designed for high-school sophomores or higher.

Prerequisite
One semester of high school biology.
Required Materials
Course requires Microsoft Word and PowerPoint software.
