Course Overview

Continues the first semester of United States History. Surveys industrialization, urbanization, immigration, American expansion, World War I, society in the 1920s, the Great Depression, New Deal, World War II, Cold War, Civil Rights, and society of today.

The course is designed for third or fourth year high-school students.

Prerequisite

None, although the first semester course or its equivalent is strongly encouraged. Diploma students should first take either two semesters of World History and Civilization or two semesters of Geography and History of the World.
