Course Overview

This course continues Earth and Space Science First Semester, with a focus on the planet Earth. Topics include earthquakes and continental drift; Earth's geologic history; life records in rock formations; the atmosphere, weather, and the hydrosphere; and human impact on the environment. Student comments: "The information on plate tectonics, land formations, and also erosion. The emphasis placed on conservation and learning how the world works.

The course is designed for high-school freshman or higher.

Prerequisite

One semester of high school Earth Science or equivalent recommended.
