Full course description
Course Overview
Kinetic Play 101 is a one-semester Physical Education course focusing on physically moving objects with and around your body by tossing, flipping, spinning, swinging, or otherwise manipulating them in order to master tricks for the fun of it. Yet, it does also have underlying benefits as we'll see throughout this course. Which is why kinetic play objects have a rich history of hundreds and in some cases - thousands of years. To learn more about this course, please watch the video below.

Prerequisite
None.
Required Materials
There is no required textbook. Instead the course requires the use of flop balls. These can be purchased with a 10% discount at flopball.com/iu. (Click on Packs, then choose either the Black Bottom Stack 6 Pack or the Rainbow Stack 6 Pack - either is fine.)
Students are expected to submit video recordings of themselves performing specific kinetic activities in order to demonstrate acquired skills. Therefore some kind of video recording device is required - a web-cam, smartphone, or video-capable digital camera.
