Course Overview

This course gives students perspective in understanding themselves and others, and provides a basis for solving and understanding everyday problems common to young people and their parents. Discusses dating, courtship, marriage, and parenthood. Emphasizes personal development and family relationships.

This course is designed for high-school freshman or higher.

How to Enroll

Current IUHS Students

If you have already created an IU Guest Account and have previously enrolled yourself in the Genius Tutorial, review your course selections below, check the checkbox in the Checkout section, then complete your enrollment.

First Time IUHS Students

Before you enroll in your first IUHS Course, you'll need to complete the following steps. These steps are only required the first time you enroll in an IUHS course.

Step 1: Create an IU Guest Account.

This account will be used to log into Canvas for your IUHS courses, as well as Genius, the IUHS student information system. The student's legal name must be used when creating the account, not that of the parent/legal guardian. Once you create an account, follow the instructions in the account activation email.

Step 2: Enroll in the IUHS Genius Tutorial course.

Click the button below, then use your guest account username and password to login to Canvas. Once you have logged in, click Enroll and then click Go to the Course to see the tutorial.
