Course Overview
This course continues English Literature, Second Semester, with a representative sampling of the literary heritage of England from the 19th-century Victorian period through the late 20th-century Postmodern period. It includes literary analysis of the works of such British writers as Byron, Shelley, Wordsworth, Dickens, Bronte, Woolf and Lawrence. Students are required to create slideshow presentations and videos. Writing assignments include essays on themes and narrative styles, interviews, editorials, plus comparative and persuasive essays.
This course is designed for third year high-school students or higher.

Prerequisite
English 9 and 10, and First Semester of English Literature strongly suggested, but not required.
Required Materials
Assignments requires Microsoft Word. Students are required to create slideshow presentations and videos.
