Suite summary:
This course suite is designed to meet the needs of new seasonal, part-time, and full-time parks and recreation employees and their supervisors/department heads.
Suite elements:
The suite includes the following elements:
- Twelve self-paced, self-study e-courses
- Informational text
- Interactive activities
- "Learn More" opportunities
- Supplemental reference materials
- Final assessments
These courses are self-paced, allowing learners the flexibility to complete the courses as quickly or slowly as they need.
After completing the content and activities in each course module, you will complete a final quiz to demonstrate your understanding of key course concepts. Upon successful completion of all course module quizzes and requirements, you will be awarded a suite certificate of completion.
Recommended background:
Participants do not need to take any prerequisite courses. The New Employee Onboarding Basic Suite Plus is designed so that concepts in the courses can be followed-up and discussed during in-person orientation.
