Course summary:
Your organization can gain a significant competitive advantage by integrating technology into its processes and procedures. Scheduling meetings with clients, sharing knowledge between teams, and quickly accessing important information can become easier by using technology to your advantage.
Technology is supposed to make life easier and simpler, but most managers find themselves cleaning up the messes caused by too many gadgets. This course will show you how to leverage technology to work smarter, not harder.
Course objectives:
After completing this course, learners should be able to:
- Apply best practices for using computers, telephones, instant messaging, e-mail, contact management applications, and scheduling software.
- Determine appropriate software and training choices.
- Establish an IT budget and set expectations and responsibilities for security and privacy.
- Develop and implement a system usage policy.
- Develop telecommuting policies and practice.
