About This Training

Payroll Essentials is a prerequisite for Human Resource Management System (HRMS) voucher access. Notify your departmental representative when you have completed this training so they may request HRMS access on your behalf.

Current HRMS users are not required to complete this training to maintain their HRMS access, but are invited to complete the training to review IU payroll policies and protocols.

Length: 6 hours

Certificate: Yes

Recurrence: This class serves as a one-time training requirement. You will not need to retake this training to maintain your HRMS access.

To enroll in the course:

1. Click “Enroll”
2. Login to Expand if you have not already done so. (You will either use your IU credentials to login, or take steps to create a guest login if you do not have IU credentials.)
3. Click “Enroll in Course”
4. Select “Go to Your Dashboard”
5. Locate the proper course under “In Progress” then select “Begin Course"
