What is the course about?
Research Admin 101 - Understanding Allowable Costs will provide information of how to determine the allow-ability of various expenditures on sponsored projects. Participants will gain an understanding of cost principles that apply to federal funding and how to avoid common pitfalls when budgeting and expending sponsored funding. The course will also cover the key factors affecting allow-ability of costs as well as rules that apply to determining the eligibility of cost share expenditures.
