What is this course about?

Course participants will have the opportunity to learn and practice the essential techniques used in rodent surgery. Participants will learn what is expected from the IACUC regarding rodent surgery. All participants will have hands-on training in basic techniques such as animal preparation, surgeon preparation, suture techniques, and record keeping. 

Who should attend this course?

This course will be most useful for all research faculty and staff who perform rodent surgery.
