For the safety and protection of the trainee the following is required prior to attending LARC BRTC Chemical Hazard Training 

IACUC Approval, LARC Facility Introduction & IB Facility Basic Orientation Training

 What are the prerequisites for this course?

 What is this course about?

This is an hour-long course that will cover the procedures and processes which are required when working in the Chemical Hazard animal housing room at the LARC BRTC Facility. The course will include demonstration and discussion on personal protective equipment, traffic flow patterns, labeling requirements, and handling/disposal of dirty cages.

 Who should attend this course?

 For research faculty and staff working in the Chemical Hazard room in the LARC BRTC facility.
