What is this course about?
This is an approximately 30-60 minute asynchronous online course that will introduce new research personnel to the LARC Breeding Colony Only (BCO) room procedures. The course is required to access BCO housing assignments.
Who should attend this course?
This course is required for research faculty and staff requiring access to Breeding Colony Only (BCO) rooms. Please contact your Facility Supervisor or Veterinarian, as indicated during your LARC Facility Basic Orientation, for more information.
What are the prerequisites for this course?
The LARC Facility Basic Orientation Training course for the facility that has the BCO room for which you need access is a required pre-requisite. Please sign up for the appropriate LARC Facility Basic Orientation Training course at least 24 hours in advance.
Helpful Tips
The LARC Facility Basic Orientation Training courses are facility specific. You are required to register and attend multiple LARC Facility Basic Orientation Training courses if the research animals you'll be working with are housed in more than one facility. A University ID is required.
