What is this course about?

This is a one hour course that will introduce new research personnel to the LARC facility and administrative procedures. The course is required to access specific housing assignments at R3.

Who should attend this course? 

This course is required for research faculty and staff requiring access to a Breeding Colony Only (BCO) room(s).  Please contact your facility supervisor, as indicated during your basic facility orientation, for more information. 

What are the prerequisites for this course?

The LARC R3 Facility Basic Orientation Training course is a required pre-requisite. Please sign up for this class at least 24 hours in advance.

Helpful Tips

The LARC Basic Orientation Training courses are facility specific. You are required to register and attend multiple basic training courses if the research animals you'll be working with are housed in more than one facility.

A University ID is required.
