Full course description
This is one session out of eight that is required for the Supervisor Seminar Series Program.
This is a 3 hour class. Dealing with conflict is not something any one of us enjoys, yet it’s a part of our work life where we spend a fair amount of our time and energy. This session is designed to help participants develop and enhance their conflict resolution and management competence. Some of the focal points of this session are:
· How to become better prepared to effectively manage workplace conflict.
· How to view and deal with difficult behaviors from a perspective that encourages positive outcomes.
· Using diagnostic tools for managing conflict.
· Use of assertive communication tools for conflict resolution.
This series is intended for managers and supervisors only.
You also have electives to complete along with the (8) eight core classes.
