Full course description
This is one session out of eight that is required for the Supervisor Seminar Series Program.
This is a 3 hour class. This course is designed to help supervisors understand how to maximize employee potential and achieve results by applying various coaching techniques. The focus is on providing supervisors the skills necessary to tap potential, unleash creativity, and secure the fullest possible commitment to goal achievement. Specifically, participants will:
· Determine the definition and importance of coaching.
· Identify the difference between coaching and mentoring.
· Identify the underlying reasons why you shy away from coaching.
· Learn the impact of effective coaching techniques.
