Full course description

This is a 3 hour class.  We often hear people say, “be professional”, or “act professional”.  What does that mean, and what does that look like?  This workshop really looks deeply into the understanding of what professionalism looks like, how it is perceived, and what norms dictate is acceptable.  We also look at the whole idea of how we really connect with others and what building relationships does for us in terms of professional growth.  We will:
  • Discover what trust has to do with professionalism and relationships.
  • Consider how our connection to others has the potential to change relationships.
  • Learn what it takes to really be in relationship to others; and why it’s our responsibility.

Target Audience: (L) This class is for those who are in a leadership position.

Facilitator:  Martie Adler
Associate Director, Talent & Organization Development
