Full course description

The ServSafe Certified Food Safety Manager training is a food safety training and certificate program administered by the National Restaurant Association. The program is accredited by ANSI and the Conference for Food Protection. The training is a one day classroom instruction helping students prepare to take the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam. It covers critical principles including: personal hygiene, cross contamination, time and temperature, receiving and storage, food safety management systems, training hourly employees, and more. Every restaurant in the state of Indiana must have at least one Certified Food Safety Manager on staff. This training is good for five years and students must receive a score of 75% or higher to pass the examination.
