Full course description
Course Introduction
This course is to provide individuals who will be working with chemicals in the laboratory with sufficient training to enable them to conduct their work safely in compliance with OSHA Lab Standard (29 CFR 1910.1450). Training must be provided prior to the time when individuals begin their duties involving chemicals and whenever there is a significant change in the types or quantities of chemicals used. Departments and, ultimately, principal investigators, lab managers, or lab supervisors are responsible for ensuring that all individuals working in their laboratories have been adequately trained.
This training is intended for Indiana University community members only. If you need to complete this training as a guest user, you may request access to the course at ehs@iu.edu.
