Course Introduction

This course introduces IU employees to ergonomics and specifically, how to set up workstations in such a way that reduces the likelihood of developing a repetitive trauma injury.

Learning Outcomes

After completing the module, you will be able to:

• Understand why ergonomics is important
• Know how to properly set up a workstation
• Know who to contact for an ergonomic evaluation
• Complete a few exercises to reduce tension in hands, arms, shoulders and neck
