Course Introduction
This course applies to IUB Facility Operators to learn what to do in the event of a a cardiac, breathing, or first aid emergency.
Learning Outcomes
After completing the module, you will be able to:
- Know and understand what to do in the event of a cardiac, breathing, or first aid emergency.
Module Topics Include
- In the First Aid section, students will learn how to respond to common first aid emergencies including; burns, cuts, head, neck, spinal injuries and more.
- CPR/AED section includes topics such as proper response to cardiac and breathing emergencies, and effective use of automated external defibrillators.
